Dans le cadre de ses activités de recherche en maladies infectieuses, l’IHU Méditerranée Infection veille à ce que chaque projet fasse l’objet d’une évaluation éthique adaptée, conformément aux dispositions législatives et réglementaires en vigueur, notamment la loi n° 2012-300 du 5 mars 2012 relative aux recherches impliquant la personne humaine dite « loi Jardé » et ses textes d’application.
La diversité des projets conduits au sein de l’Institut (recherche sur données ou échantillons biologiques, recherches rétrospectives, études observationnelles, recherches impliquant la personne humaine, collaborations internationales, etc.) nécessite une orientation préalable vers l’instance éthique compétente.
Le schéma ci-dessous a pour objectif d’aider les équipes à identifier, dès la phase de conception du projet, le ou les comités devant être saisis (Comité d’éthique, Comité de Protection des Personnes, comité étranger partenaire, etc.), afin de garantir la conformité réglementaire, le respect des principes éthiques et la sécurisation des travaux de recherche menés au sein de l’IHU.
As part of its research activities on infectious diseases, the IHU Méditerranée Infection ensures that each project undergoes an appropriate ethical review, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, notably Law No. 2012-300 of March 5, 2012, on research involving human subjects, known as the “Jardé Law,” and its implementing regulations.
The wide range of projects conducted at the Institute (research involving biological data or samples, retrospective studies, observational studies, research involving human subjects, international collaborations, etc.) requires prior referral to the appropriate ethics committee.
The diagram below is intended to help teams identify, as early as the project design phase, the committee or committees that need to be consulted (Ethics Committee, Human Research Protection Committee, partner committee abroad, etc.), in order to ensure regulatory compliance, adherence to ethical principles, and the safety of research conducted at the IHU.
